Alpaca is a commission-free stock brokerage with an excellent API for automated trading. Your money stays in your Alpaca account - we never touch it. We just send trade signals through their API. Creating an Alpaca account takes about 2 minutes and is free.
Yes. All trading involves risk. While our ML models and risk management aim to be profitable over time, individual trades can lose money. That's why we recommend starting with paper trading (virtual money) to see how the bot performs before using real capital. Never trade with money you can't afford to lose.
Past performance doesn't guarantee future results. Our backtests show varying returns depending on market conditions and which profile you use. We provide backtest data so you can see historical performance, but live trading always differs from backtests.
Absolutely. You have full control. You can stop the bot with one click, close any position manually, or disconnect your account entirely. You can also cancel your subscription anytime - no lock-in contracts.
Your Alpaca API keys are encrypted and stored securely. We can only place trades - we cannot withdraw funds from your account. Your money always stays in your Alpaca account, protected by their security measures and, where applicable, SIPC protection covering broker-dealer failure (SIPC does not protect against trading losses).
